Hey There! My name is John Steudle, and I am a photographer who is currently based in Chicago, Illinois (though born and raised in metro Detroit, MI). I am on a mission to empower men to feel the most confident in their skin through boudoir photography. I have always had a camera in my hands growing up capturing everything that was around me. In 2019 I officially dove into the photography business and have shot anything from graduations, couples, individuals, etc.

I recently discovered the male boudoir genre through social media and fell in love with it. It was empowering to see the sensuality, uniqueness, and strength of everyday men. As someone who had grown up with their own body issues, and continuing to work through them on my own body acceptance journey, I was really beyond moved by the vulnerability of the genre and how a simple session can create such an impact on someone’s self-image. This past summer, I explored the genre myself, and after talking to a friend about a male boudoir session, they offered to be a test client. By the end of their session, I was buzzing with excitement (and so was the client). The client felt as if they were glowing, and l was elated knowing that I could provide such an empowering experience. The magic continued upon delivery of the images and seeing the client feel so moved by the images and the way they see themselves. and it was at that exact moment I was hooked on the male boudoir genre..
